SPARE TIRE COMPARTMENT LID | DATSUN | 280Z | 1975-76

Skillard's 1975-76 Spare Tire Compartment Lid fits 1975-76 Datsun 280Z. It replaces the OEM cardboard spare tire cover and rear deck carpet.

This 1975-76 version is elevated off of the rear deck to be even with the luggage riser. The forward portion is hinged and secured with a quick-release latch for easy access to the cubbies underneath. The center rear section is attached with thumb screws to allow easy access to your spare tire without the need of extra tools to unscrew the panel.

Made from .090" aluminum, this kit comes in five (5) pieces. It mounts using the fourteen (14) formed brackets, along with hinges, the quick-release latch, thumb screws, rivnuts and machine screws, all provided in the kit. Please review our installation video, below.

Available in a raw aluminum finish or black powder coating.

Designed for the 2-seater, this spare tire compartment lid is not compatible with the 260Z 2+2 or the 280Z 2+2.

When selecting the black powder coated option, please note that the hinges and the brackets will not be powder coated, they will be a tumbled aluminum finish.

NOTE: The installation video below is for the 240Z Spare Tire Compartment Lid, but the process and custom brackets used in the video are the same for the 1975-76 version.
