HOOD VENTS | 9" x 18"

Improve cooling, airflow, and the look of your ride with these lightweight aluminum hood louvers from Skillard.

Improved cooling for a higher engine output, motor swap, bigger turbo, etc. is a must with any performance build. 

Available in available in a 50/50 or 0/100 configuration.

In the 50/50 configuration the louver pivot is in the middle, putting roughly 50% of the louver above the hood surface and 50% below the hood surface.

In the 0/100 configuration the louver pivot point is at the front of the louver putting essentially all of the louver above the hood. The 0/100 configuration is particularly helpful if you do not wish to cut out any of the hood support structure underneath the hood skin. See video below for further information.

These will ship flat so that you can "hand-form" the louvers to the optimal angle for your build. Don't worry, it is very easy to do and you can see how we do it in the video below.

“Based on the Bernoulli principle, the air flow over the top of the louvers will create a vacuum and pull the air out from under the hood. With the opening facing rearwards the air passing over the first one will suck air out through it, that air will be forced over the next louver sucking air out through that, and so on.” 

These hood vents are CNC cut from lightweight aluminum and come with flush-mounted studs already installed. 

Installation templates and hardware are included. Price is for a pair (set of one driver and one passenger hood vent). 

USE CAUTION: Do not over-tighten the installation hardware.
