INNER SCUFF PLATES, ALUMINUM | DATSUN | 280Z

Skillard's 280Z inner door scuff plates are made from lightweight aluminum and are CNC cut.

Sold as a pair.

These are formed to match the OEM shape and style while greatly improving product quality. The 50+ year old OEM scuff plates are usually rusted to pieces at this point. And our lightweight aluminum version won't rust.

Available in brushed aluminum or black powder coated finish.

NOTE: Our brushed aluminum finish (new in June 2026) adds a clean, consistent grain to the surface of the part, giving it a more finished look right out of the box. It’s a durable, practical finish that helps soften the appearance of everyday handling while keeping the lightweight, purposeful feel of aluminum.

New stainless steel mounting screws are included, and depending on the year of your car you may need to align the scuff plates and drill four 1/8" holes to secure them in place.

*** Please note that the 280Z in early 1975 models may have the 260Z style inner scuff plates. Please visually check yours and if you have the 260Z style you can get those here 240Z/260Z Inner Scuff Plates
